With over 100 publications and 25,000 distribution locations managed by contractors, distributors and Tribune employees, Tribune posed a unique set of challenges for Syncronex. We had to have a multi-tenant solution that seamlessly integrated our single copy operations with our subscription operations while providing a centralized, consistent view of our business. We selected to Syncronex Single Copy Edition to help us manage all aspects of our operation including invoicing and payment collection at the retail location via mobile solutions - and they delivered a flexible and scaleable solution while being extremely easy to work with.
Our method of data collection was entirely antiquated. It was an inflexible system that required dual entry of data - meaning twice the opportunity for mistakes and twice the time before field sales data was available for management to review. With Sycronex and Single Copy, we have a much more flexible system. Once the data is synchronized with distribution, reports are available immediately and we can analyze sales and share data easily via the web.
