Press Release
Tribune Company selects Syncronex for delivery software
September 9, 2010
Syncronex is pleased to announce a corporate agreement with Tribune Company to provide single copy distribution solutions to all of its newspapers. The system is currently being implemented at the Orlando Sentinel, The Chicago Tribune and The Sun-Sentinel in Ft. Lauderdale.
The system will give delivery personnel all of the information they need at the point of sale. With rugged hand held devices and mobile printers the entire transaction necessary for stocking and billing a retail outlet is at their fingertips.
Before Syncronex, single copy distribution was handled via one-off solutions at each newspaper, either using a legacy hand held system or no system at all. With the Syncronex enterprise solution, all newspapers can run from one web based system enabling Tribune to centralize server equipment and resources, proving efficiencies across the company.
